How to Manage Patients and Devices
This guide will walk you through how to manage patients and devices in the XRHealth Clinician Platform so you can easily keep everything running smoothly.

Getting Started

Go to platform.xr.health

Click “Log in as a Clinician”

Enter your credentials
First time logging in? Check your inbox for an email titled “Access your XRHealth account.” Click the activation link to set your password.
Basic Platform Structure
The XRHealth platform is organized into organizations, which include:

Clinicians
-
Patients
-
Devices
Visibility types:
-
Organization: Visible to all clinicians in your organization (indicated by this icon: )

Personal: Visible only to the clinician assigned to it (no icon)
Adding a New Patient

Go to the Patients tab
-
Click “New Patient”
-
Enter a patient alias (used for privacy)

Choose whether to assign the patient to Organization or Personal

Add personal data (Full name and Email)
Tip: Adding an email will send the patient an invitation to MyXRHealth, our patient online care hub. This is optional and not required for VR use—it can be added later. -
Click “Create”
Adding a New Device
- Go to the Devices tab

Click “Add New Device”

Enter the 4-digit pairing code (found on headset: XRPortal → Home screen) or select “Serial Number” and enter the device's serial number

Choose whether to assign the device to Organization or Personal

Assign a patient now (if not assigned yet)
Since patients don’t log into VR, this assignment ensures that session data is linked to the right patient. If no patient is assigned, the data will remain unassigned. - Click "Add Device"
Notes:
You can only assign a patient if both the patient and device have the same visibility level:
→ Personal device → Personal patient
→ Organization device → Organization patientEach patient can be assigned to only one device. If you can’t find a patient, check if they are already assigned to another device.
Changing the assigned patient:

Go to the Devices tab

Search for the device

Click the purple person icon

Search and select the relevant patient
Tip: From this page, you can also cast the headset without launching content—click the casting icon (available only when the device is online).
Moving Between Personal and Organization

Find the patient or device in the list
-
Click the three dots
-
Select “Move to Organization” or “Move to Personal”

Confirm the action
